BUNAC Travel Services 9/12/2011

Established in 1962, BUNAC has enabled hundreds of thousands of travellers to explore the world through work and travel and is today recognised as a specialist in the field of overseas work and travel programmes.

Pixel Snobbery has completed numerous projects for BUNAC. The most recet was a bespoke CMS which allowed BUNAC to update their website, and send bulk emails without the need for in-house web techies.

We all love a holiday but nothing beats submerging yourself into a new culture on a work abroad adventure!

Source for the Goose 2/27/2012

Source for the Goose is a vintage-style homewares and decorations shop based in South Molton, a small market town bordering Exmoor National Park in North Devon. They opened in 2007 and in 2011 asked Pixel Snobbery to help build an ecommerce website.

The website has a bespoke CMS allowing new products to be added, blogs to be published, and special offers to be pushed. It all runs off of a SQL server, and was coded in C# on the ASP.Net platform.

The Source for the Goose website is, we feel, a natural progression.

St John Ambulance 12/31/2011

St John Ambulance is a charity that's committed to making sure more people can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved. To do that, we need your help.

I worked with St John Ambulance as an ASP.Net contractor, and developed a voucher discount system for their online first-aid training course booking system. This was done using VB.Net.

About me

My name is James Robson, and I've been making websites for over eight years.

I started my career as a designer, and have steadily progressed towards the development side of websites. I think this gives me an advantage over my peers as I'm confident working on every single part of the life-cycle, from initial research, design, backend development, and right through to marketing and SEO.

I'm passionate about writing clean, maintainable, efficient and scalable code that compliments a simple, intuitive and aestetically pleasing UI. I like to round off all of my work with a sprinkle of pixel perfection.

That's me!
